- Custom Painting Policy At NerdHerdLLC, Each painting is made with care and attention to detail to bring your vision to life. Please review the following policy before placing a custom order. 1. Commission Process Clients must provide a clear description of the desired painting, including subject matter, style, size, and preferred color palette. Reference images are strongly recommended for accuracy. A consultation (via email, call, or form) will be conducted before confirming project scope and pricing. Commissions are accepted based on availability and artistic discretion. 2. Pricing & Deposits Prices vary depending on size, complexity, and medium (e.g., oil, acrylic, watercolor). A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your spot and begin the painting. Final payment is due before shipment or delivery All quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issue. 3. Timeline & Turnaround Standard turnaround is 4-8 weeks depending on size, medium, and workload. Rush orders may be available at an extra fee and must be agreed upon in advance. Delays due to material shortages or unforeseen circumstances will be communicated promptly. 4. Proofing & Revisions A rough sketch or concept preview may be provided (upon request or as part of the package). Up to 2 minor revisions are included before finalization; major changes may incur additional fees. Once final painting begins, major revisions cannot be accommodated. 5. Shipping & Delivery Shipping costs are calculated based on size, destination, and packaging requirements. All paintings are securely packaged to prevent damage and include tracking. Local delivery or pickup may be arranged upon request. NerdHerdLLC is not responsible for delays or damage caused by third-party couriers. 6. Cancellations & Refunds Deposits are non-refundable, as they cover materials and time invested. If you cancel after the painting has started, any additional payment made beyond the deposit may be partially refunded at our discretion. Custom paintings are non-returnable once completed unless there is clear evidence of damage or significant deviation from the approved concept. 7.
