- 3D Print Custom Order Policy Overview At NerdHerdLLC, we specialize in custom 3D printing services tailored to your unique needs. This policy outlines the terms and conditions related to custom orders, including order submission, production, and returns. A consultation (via email, call, or form) will be conducted before confirming project scope and pricing. 2. Order Submission All custom orders must include a complete 3D model file (STL, OBJ, or STEP format preferred). If design services are requested, an additional fee will apply. Customers must provide accurate dimensions, scale, and any specific material or finish preferences at the time of order. We reserve the right to refuse designs that are illegal, unsafe, or violate intellectual property rights. 3. Quoting & Payment A detailed quote will be provided within 1–3 business days after our initial booking. Full payment is required before production begins. Quotes are valid for 7 days and may be subject to change based on material costs or design revisions. 4. Production Timeline Standard production time is 3–10 business days, this timeline changes if a different service such as painting is added on depending on order complexity and material availability. Rush orders may be accommodated at an additional cost, depending on workload. We will notify customers of any delays beyond the estimated timeline. 5. Quality Assurance We inspect all prints before shipping to ensure they meet the specifications agreed upon. Minor surface imperfections (e.g., layer lines, slight color variations) are normal for 3D-printed parts. Functional or dimensional issues due to file errors provided by the customer are not our responsibility. 6. Cancellations & Refunds Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of payment, provided production has not started. Custom orders are non-refundable once production has begun. If a part arrives damaged or significantly deviates from approved specifications, please contact us within 7 days for a resolution or reprint. 7. Intellectual Property & Confidentiality All submitted designs remain the intellectual property of the customer. We do not share, replicate, or distribute customer designs without written consent. NDA agreements are available upon request. 8. Shipping & Handling Shipping costs and options will be included in your quote. We are not liable for delays or damage caused by shipping carriers.
