Nerd Herd, LLC is a locally owned and operated company in Plymouth, MN (suburb of Minneapolis, MN). It was founded in January of 2006 by Jason Hatlestad. The original idea was to start a company that serviced the Twin Cities area with computer troubleshooting abilities; whether over the phone or making a house visit to solve computer related problems.
Shortly thereafter the thought of supporting local businesses via the web came to light. Jason had been working with web sites as a hobby since 2000. It was decided that this hobby could be utilized by businesses and organizations to their benefit. Without spending any money on advertising, Nerd Herd has picked up close to one dozen clients over three years...all via word of mouth. It is something that started as just a dream but has now become a reality.
Graduating in April of 2009, Jason Hatlestad received his Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Brown College (Mendota Heights, MN). With at least five (5) years experience in computer troubleshooting, Jason decided to start Nerd Herd, LLC as a means to make some extra money by supporting home and business users. It has since transformed into a multi-faceted IT Solutions Provider.
Although young at heart, Jason has the combined experience and certifications to handle just about any technology related issues that are thrown his way...and if he personally cannot find a solution, he has contacts with many other people in IT that can provide what he cannot.
